My name is Ashley and I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter days before I was to be euthanized. I came to Circle L Ranch Animal Rescue about 2 years ago and was a pretty frightened girl. I was especially afraid of men. At the ranch, I started to relax and enjoy playing with all the dogs, and being able to sleep in a nice warm bed. I still didn't trust men and was pretty afraid of strangers. I don't bite but I do bark and won't approach.

One day a nice lady came to adopt me; she took me to her ranch to live. We had horses and another dog to play with. She became very ill and had to return me to Circle L. I was still very shy, but did recognize all my play buddies and the people that work there so it wasn't too bad coming back.

I entered the PIP Training program about 2 months ago to help me with my fear of men and strangers. I am progressing slowly. The trainer is now finding that certain things and even quick movements scare me. He is very patient and is working with me daily to correct these things.

I need someone who wants to keep working with me and understands all that I'm going through. If the training doesn't continue, I will never be better and will always be afraid.

If you are interested in meeting me please call Circle L Ranch at 928-273-7005.
