NEED2KNOW: Marino's Corner Bistro sees major changes; PV Ross grand opening set; Allstate Agency celebration

The new Marino's Corner Bistro

PRESCOTT - Marino's Corner Bistro, previously Pasquale's Place, located at 148 N. Montezuma in Prescott, has gone through a complete overhaul.

Owners Dave and Sheri Marino, who also own Marino's Mob Burgers and Ice Cream and Armadillo Wax Works Candle Factory in downtown Prescott, decided their bistro needed to change its look, service staff, management and menu, said Matt Spencer, the restaurant's new manager.

"I was hired to create a new vision and path for the restaurant, which I believe I did in less than 60 days," Spencer said.

They started the overhaul in mid-December and are just wrapping up some of the final improvements.

Aside from the aesthetic changes to the dining room, one of the most noticeable changes was to the menu.

"We went from over 100 items on the menu to roughly 30," Spencer said. "It takes the confusion out of menu."

Spencer said they've kept many of their patron's favorite dishes, but eliminated entire sections that were underperforming, such as their Mexican menu.

Some of the new menu items you might find are a couple new pasta options, some new appetizers, a couple new sandwiches and an entirely new selection of steaks.
