Obituary: Kenneth Yvon Peltier Lambert
Kenneth Yvon Peltier, "Lil Man," passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Jan. 15, 2016 at Phoenix Children's hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Lil Man was born on May 30, 2015 to very excited and first time parents Saria and Kenneth Lambert of Prescott Valley, Arizona.
During his short time here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Lil Man had the sweetest smile and would light up anyone's day. Saria and Kenny had such an unbreakable bond and could make him laugh with the smallest gestures. He was a daily part of so many lives, from family, friends and anyone walking by, all wanting to hold him and take pictures of him. From the beginning of his life, Lil Man faced many health issues and doctors had expressed the need for many surgeries in the future. Saria and Kenny always vigilant with his health care and always catering to his every need. Lil Man was diagnosed with an extremely rare double chromosome deletion, he being one out of 20 people in the whole nation with this rare condition.
Though he passed so young, he was able to experience the true love and selflessness of two loving parents who wanted nothing more than to provide him with a life full of love, compassion, laughter, and most importantly the bond between parents and a beautiful little boy. Lil Man also had a large family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins that all loved him so strongly and were there every step of the way to support, love, cuddle, and play with him.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 starting at 2 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 6501 6thst in Prescott Valley, Arizona. In lieu of flowers you can donate to the parents at gofundme.com/najxgfb; there are many hospital and final arrangement expenses that the parents will need help with. Thank you to all who loved Lil Man and was able to share in his light. Thank you for all of your support and love you have shown the family.
A poem by Cheyanne Ward
It's time to say goodbye and we don't understand why today is the day we lay our little man to rest. Everyone knows he was the best, he was our miracle, our dream come true and we are here to comfort you though today we say goodbye, just remember he never really dies, for in our hearts his spirit lies. If he could talk, I know he'd say, "Mommy, daddy, please don't cry, for I am not gone, I'm flying high. I'm that brand new twinkle in the sky; I know one day I'll see you again and until then, hold your heads up high and just remember I'm standing by, for I'm the light of the moon and the sunlight in the sky.
So please be strong and it won't be long will we're together again. Love your little man.
