Most people have leftover turkey from the holidays. Here is a quick and tasty recipe that is a good way to use up some of that meat and makes a good filling meal for your family.

Turkey & Noodles

1 package 12-ounce egg noodles

3 tablespoons butter

3 cups chopped turkey

1 cup leftover turkey gravy

1 can cream of celery soup

1½ cups milk

½ cup green pepper (chopped)

½ cup celery (chopped)

½ cup onion (chopped)

1 cup pepper-jack cheese

½ teaspoon salt and pepper

1½ cups French fried onions

Cook noodles as directed, drain and set aside. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté the onion and green pepper and celery, until soft.

Add milk, soup, and gravy into the veggies and cook for about 3 minutes. Stir in cheese until blended, then add mixture to noodles and mix together. Sprinkle French fried onions over the top and serve with a green salad.
