Guns and Hoses tourney raises $6,400

Two local organizations recently benefited from the proceeds of the third annual John Hanna Sr. Memorial Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament, a fundraiser that took place at Antelope Hills Golf Course in September. The tournament raised $6,400, and organizer Sherrie Hanna reported that $3,000 each went to the Prescott Firefighter Charities, and the Prescott Police Explorer organization – both of which were favorites of former Prescott City Councilman John Hanna Sr., who died in 2013 ($400 of the proceeds was reserved for next year’s tournament). On hand for the awarding of the donations were: Jacque Hanna-Kasun, Prescott Police Sgt. Ben Scott, Sherrie Hanna, Detective John Hanna Jr., Prescott Fire Marshal Don Devendorf, and Jake Hanna.
