Jan Gellhaus Walker

Jan Gellhaus Walker, 57, met her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2016, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in South Dakota, raised in Ames, Iowa, Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated from High School in Rapid City. She attended the University of Nebraska and Northern Arizona University. For the past eight years she was employed with Bechtel Construction as Cost Engineer at the Pueblo Chemical Auto-Destruction Pilot Plant.

She is survived by sons, Jacob, United States Marine Corps, and Justin, Colorado Springs also employed with Bechtel PCAPP project; her parents Bette and Harlan Gellhaus, Dewey Arizona, and Sister Julie [Jeff] John Ross and Jarrett Marshall of Columbus, Ohio. She will also be remembered by many cousins and many special friends. The family is also very grateful to Sangre de Cristo, Hospice Center, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. West, Pueblo Colorado 81005 for their loving care and concern for Jan.

Services for Jan were held at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 2845 Parliament Drive, Colorado Springs, on Monday Aug. 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.

Memorials may be directed to the Hospice Center, the Covenant Church or any Cancer Research Project of your choice.
