Founded when?

June 1, 1980 the Prescott Valley UMC was chartered and met at the Prescott Valley Community Center (now known as CASA Senior Center) until the church broke ground in Oct. 1982. It was consecrated on Nov. 6, 1983. 45 members of the Prescott UMC transferred their memberships to the Prescott Valley church.

How many in congregation? Over 100 wonderful Christians call this church their home.

Church’s mission or goals:

To share good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ through word and example, to bring others into relationships with Christ and church. To be alive to human needs in our community and beyond. To maintain our unity in Christ by developing deep friendships and caring for one another. To seek constantly to grow in personal faith and knowledge and to insure individual commitment to ministry and service.
