Classic cars return to Watson Lake Park this weekend
PRESCOTT – The Prescott Antique Auto Club’s 42nd annual Watson Lake Show returns to Watson Lake Park Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7.
Cars older than 1991—some much older—will be on display at the park all day. Their owners vie for hand-crafted trophies in various categories.
Cars will be for sale at the Car Corral, where, for $20, sellers can show their car to hundreds of potential buyers.
There will be a parts exchange, for that unusual or odd part needed to finish a project.
The old engine fire-up is back again this year, with steam engines, tractors, and assorted novelty equipment snorting and coughing to life.
The show is a fundraiser for the Prescott Antique Auto Club, which provides scholarships to young people who want to study automotive technology and gifts for veterans at Christmastime.
