Rev. Karla Brockie is guest minister this Sunday at Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship’s guest minister for the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, April 24, is the Rev. Karla Brockie. Her topic will be “The Circle of Life: Dealing with Death and Loss. Loss is an integral part of life, but we often avoid facing the pain of it. The Rev. Karla will invite the congregation to reflect together on healthy grieving and looking deep into our hearts. Lena Hubin, pianist, will add her unique music to the service.

The Rev. Karla Brockie is the minister at Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation. She previously served UU congregations in Raleigh, North Carolina and Sierra Vista, Arizona. She was a chaplain in a Tucson hospice for five years and the Director of Religious Education at Mountain Vista

Congregation in Tucson. She can’t resist adding that her son, Daniel Martin, is on the Board of Trustees of the Pacific Southwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
