Suzanne Moore Sartorius passed away Sept. 26, 2015. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 6, 1932 to Julia and Fred Moore.

Suzanne moved to Phoenix with her family in 1948 and graduated from West Phoenix High in 1950. She has an associate's degree from Phoenix College and specialized in health insurance for doctor's offices throughout her career. Suzanne married Harlo C. Sartorius in October 1954 and had three children, Victoria Jane (Don) Braden, Ronald Keith (Lorie) Sartorius and Julia Marie (Jeff) Goetzinger.

Suzanne was known for her community activity, helping others and sweet disposition. Suzie has long been an active member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (Sorority to her children). Since returning to Arizona in 1995 and settling in the Prescott Valley area Suzie has been an active member of NACOG, CASA, PEO and the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years. She is survived by her children; grandchildren, Lauren Suzanne Karasek, Donald "Keith" (Cindy) Sartorius; great grandchildren, Kayle Marie and Austin Keith Sartorius; her sister Jane Alice Olsen; several nieces and nephews and their children.

Suzie loved red roses. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Drive. Donations can be made to Prescott Valley United Methodist Church.
