Wayne Martin Denison was born on April 16, 1957, in Kingman, Kansas, to Bobby and Barbara (Hodges) Denison. He passed away on Sept. 7, 2015 at the Serenity House in Phoenix, Arizona.

Wayne moved to Arizona 34 years ago. He did many odd jobs around town before becoming employed by the Prescott School District working for nearly 20 years, as a custodian at Lincoln Elementary School.

He is survived by his mother Barbara (Hodges) Denison of Prescott, Arizona; a brother Bryan Denison of Salina, Kansas; three sisters, Lynn Denison of Prescott, Arizona, Patricia Denison of Lamar, Colorado and Kelli Summers of Florida; two nieces, Michelle Burns of Prescott, Arizona and Jessica Denison of Lamar, Colorado; three nephews, Austin Denison of Prescott, Arizona, Brad Leffel of Kansas City, Kansas and Bradley Denison of Kingman, Kansas; four aunts, Anna Smith and Virginia Copeland of Kingman, Kansas, Kathy Jackson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Mary McClellean of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; one uncle James Hodges of Hutchinson, Kansas; as well as many cousins, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Denison.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lincoln Elementary School in honor of Wayne Denison. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2015, at Living Faith Church in Prescott Valley, Arizona, as well as a memorial service to take place in Kingman, Kansas, where he will be placed close to his father's family.
