There are signs now at Mountain Valley Park about not feeding the wildlife. It is to prevent the domestic rat problem from worsening there. But it prevents people from feeding the ducks who have become dependent on humans. The ducks will have a hard time surviving in winter especially when the geese and other ducks come later in the year. I'm wondering whether the parks department could change the signs to allow for the feeding of ducks and still warn people not to feed the rats?
