Paulden crash kills motorcyclist
A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 89 in Paulden Saturday.
The crash occurred at 6:43 p.m. at milepost 334.7, according to the Department of Public Safety. The motorcycle was southbound on Highway 89 when the rider attempted to avoid a chair in the roadway, crossed the center line and collided with a van.
The motorcyclist was killed; the driver of the van was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released, DPS said.
The identity of the motorcyclist was not yet available as of Sunday afternoon.
