More than 60 golfers participated in the Ninth Annual Windermere Foundation Golf Tournament at Prescott Lakes Golf Club on Oct. 19 to raise money for local charity organizations. The Prescott and Prescott Valley offices raised over $8,400, which will be donated directly to local charities that assist families and children in need in the greater Prescott area.
Since 2007, the Windermere Foundation Golf Tournament has contributed more than $128,000 to charity organizations. Past recipients of grants from the tournament include Boys to Men Mentoring Network, Yavapai Territorial Gospel Rescue Mission, Blankets 4 Kids, Arizona's Children Association, Center for Compassion and Justice, Christian Academy of Prescott, Prescott Area Women's Shelter, PAAR's Backpacks for Kids, Sterling Ranch, St. Luke's School, Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, Arizona Burn Foundation, Chino Valley High School, Yavapai Exceptional Industries, Prescott Meals on Wheels, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Yavapai CASA for Kids, Prescott Community Cupboard, Prescott Youth Football and Stepping Stones.
