Visionary Awards nominations due by Dec. 4

Prescott Area Young Professionals is accepting nominations for its 2015-16 Visionary Awards. The Visionary Awards recognize up to 10 young men and women poised to play key, visionary roles in shaping their communities and businesses in the next decade.

Nominees must be 20 to 40 years old and currently employed in business, government or nonprofit organizations in the quad-city area.

Anyone may nominate a candidate. Self-nominations are also allowed. Nomination forms, available at prescottareayp.org, must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4.

Nominees then will be asked to fill out an application form providing additional information, such as their personal goals for the future and their vision of the Prescott area in the coming decade. Those forms are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18.

Submit nominations to PAYP Visionary Awards, Prescott Chamber of Commerce, 117 Goodwin St., Prescott, AZ 86303. There's also an online nomination form at prescottareayp.org.

A panel of local judges will evaluate each application, resume and response by the nominee.

PAYP's Visionary Award recipients will be honored at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting on Jan. 28, 2016.
