College Soccer Roundup: Embry-Riddle women's soccer claims share of 2015 Cal Pac regular season title
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's women's soccer team garnered a share of the California Pacific Conference's 2015 regular-season title after notching a 1-0 victory over Soka University (Calif.) Saturday, Nov. 7, in Prescott.
As a result, the Eagles will face Marymount (Calif.) in their Cal Pac tournament opener at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the University of California-Merced.
In Saturday's game at ERAU's campus field, Emilie Tarin's unassisted goal was the difference in the Eagles' win over Soka, upping Embry-Riddle's record to 12-3-2 overall and 7-1-2 in conference.
On Friday, Nov. 6, the Eagles pitched a 3-0 shutout over Antelope Valley. Goal scorers for ERAU were Estelle Fortes, Tarin and Krista Lee. Kelsey Merrigan, Lee and Fortes also recorded an assist apiece.

In its 2015 Cal Pac Conference finale on Senior Day Sunday, Nov. 8, in Prescott, the Embry-Riddle men's soccer team defeated Soka to clinch a spot in the conference tournament.
With the win, the Eagles improved their record to 11-7 overall and finished conference play at 7-5.
Embry-Riddle will travel to Wilmington, California, this week of Nov. 8, for the league tournament, which is hosted by Marymount at Los Angeles Harbor College.
The Eagles will battle Cal-Merced in their opening round match. Kickoff is TBA.
