4 suffer minor injuries in crash on Highway 89
Four people were sent to two hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon after an accident involving a car and motorcycle.
The Department of Public Safety said the collision occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 89 at milepost 332, near Fain Road.
Central Yavapai Fire District had three ambulances on the scene and ended up transporting four patients in all - a man and woman from the motorcycle and two women from the vehicle, identified by Battalion Chief Brad Davis as a taxi.
Two of them were taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center's West Campus and two to the East Campus. All four had non-life-threatening injuries, Davis said.
The highway was down to one lane while crews were at the scene.
