Three-vehicle highway crash injures three

DEWEY - A collision at the intersection of Highway 69 and 169 around 11:15 a.m. Friday between a semitractor-trailer, a FedEx van and a pickup injured three drivers, according to a Department of Public Safety spokesman.

One patient was extricated from a vehicle and flown by Native Air to John C. Lincoln-North hospital in Phoenix.

Another was taken by ground ambulance to Yavapai Regional Medical Center's east campus.

It's not known if the third person went to the hospital.

DPS is investigating the cause of the crash

Highway 69 was shut down for a time, and afterwards, lanes were gradually reopened.
