Looking for artists to apply for Public Art Exhibition Program

The Town of Prescott Valley Arts & Culture Commission invites professional or amateur artists working in two or three dimensional media to apply for its Public Art Exhibition Program. The display is located on the first and second floors of the Public Library.

The public art exhibit is open to Prescott Valley and quad-city artists and is an ongoing program; you may apply at any time, and displays are changed out every 60 days. Attachments for hanging 2D work are already secured in walls and more than one artist's works may be exhibited at one time. 3D work must fit within the supplied display cases.

The Town of Prescott Valley will jury submissions and selection of work will be based upon artistic excellence. All artwork must contain subject matter suitable for display in a public building frequented by persons of all ages.

There is no fee for participation, and artists may sell their work. Artwork sold during the exhibition period must remain on site for the duration of the exhibit and will be labeled as "sold." All sales of active displays will be conducted by Parks and Recreation with the understanding that 20 percent of the sales total will be donated to the Arts and Culture Commission for the sustainment and expansion of the art display program at the Town of Prescott Valley.
