Joseph (Joe) Darpino, 67, of Prescott, Arizona, born Sept. 20, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Frances (Mannuzza) Darpino, passed away March 1, 2015.
Joe grew up in Southern New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 1978.
He loved his life in Prescott, where he was a resident for 36 years. He enjoyed everything about nature and the outdoors, fishing, hunting and hiking. His hobbies were target shooting and bowling, which he participated on a team for over 30 years. He worked as a sales representative selling office equipment, furniture and then copy machines.
He was a loyal and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Lucille (Abbate) Darpino; daughter Melissa (Darpino) Lambert; son-in-law Jesse Lambert; grandson Tristan Lambert; sisters Theresa Worrall and Susan Darpino of New Jersey.
Memorial Mass service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, Arizona. Private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Junior Bowlers Association, Arizona Game and Fish Department or American Cancer Society of Arizona.
