Goonies 4,Rams 3The 2015 PYHA Spring adult roller hockey season concluded at the Pioneer Park roller hockey facility over the past weekend. Last spring's champions, Goonies, were looking to repeat their success as the top team.The home team and defending spring champions, Goonies, took an immediate 2-goal lead over the Rams in just the first 7 minutes of play with scores from Kyle Sheble and brother Tyler Sheble.The Goonies' torrid scoring pace cooled for the remaining first period while the Rams' Stephen Polk rifled in a biscuit to cut the lead 2-1.The second period saw the Goonies extend their lead to 4-2 with scores from team captain Jesse Meckley and Tyler Sheble. But the Rams were still able to claw their way back to within a goal with a score from Doug Foery with just 40 seconds remaining in the finale.The Rams unleashed one more furious offensive onslaught onto the Goonies' goalie Jason Hurst, but Hurst shut the gate on all the shots. The Goonies' Tyler Sheble controlled the puck for the last 10 seconds to secure the Goonies' second consecutive adult spring season championship 4-3.
