Free family resource guides now available

The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County, in partnership with First Things First, has released the latest edition of the Big & Little Kids Book. The Big & Little Kids Book is a free resource guide for families in Yavapai County that provides information about resources available for children, from infants to young adults.

As in years past, local law enforcement agencies, and their dogs, assisted in the distribution of the books across the county. The Camp Verde Marshal's Office, Prescott Valley, Prescott Police Department, Cottonwood Police Department and the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office offered their support in unloading and delivering the Big & Little Kids Book to local schools, service agencies, medical facilities and public libraries.

"The new edition of The Big & Little Kids Book is a great reminder of all of the organizations working to support local youth so they grow up happy and healthy," said Sergeant Jeff Hemphill of the Prescott Police Department. "The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County puts a lot of time and effort in to making this resource available to local families, and we're happy to help in any way we can."

This is the sixth year that the Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County and First Things First have partnered in the creation of the Big & Little Kids Book, which has become an important resource for communities across the county.
