The popular, upscale Cork and Cuisine in Prescott Valley is expanding and on March 1, will feature a take-out, bakery and catering service near its existing restaurant.
Owner Sherri Cook has leased the space formerly known as Gustava Bistro, within the Entertainment District-a short distance from the Cork and Cuisine.
The C&C Too will provide homemade morning pastries, coffee, salads, soups and other popular menu items.
"It's perfect for those who want to eat at the Cork for lunch, but don't have the time. We'll have a rotating soup and salad menu, desserts and during the holiday season, you can order pies. People can stop by after work and grab a quart of soup to heat up at home," she said.
The C&C Too will carry the Prescott Coffee Roaster brands and eventually offer a mobile basket service whereby local businesses may choose early morning pastries from the convenience of their offices. In addition, Cook continues refining a future iMenu option allowing patrons to place and pay for their to-go orders online.
"I think it's a good way to expand without changing the restaurant. We're just adding what people have been asking for," she said.
A few bistro seats will feature at C&C Too, but mainly the take-out eatery will provide fresh, pre-made, packaged meals, homemade breads to include gluten-free and salads including customer favorites such as the pear-quinoa, smoked salmon and spaghetti-squash salads.
"I'm pretty excited!" Cook said.
The C&C Too hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 2992 Park Avenue in Prescott Valley near Harkins Theatre.
