What brought you through when others stayed behind?
It's that time of year again - the time when the Counselor's Column asks for reader input and insight. "What has worked for you?" The idea is to get real-world tips from local people who have overcome life's obstacles. And, that wisdom may be shared in a future column with other readers. Keeping names private, of course.
Before you think it or say it out loud - you DO have something to offer. You DO. There has been something positive that you have done in your life from which others can learn. Think about that, and consider sending an email. You may be more resilient than you think.
For example, some people have had tremendous physical health challenges, yet they overcome them or learn to deal with them in a practical and even positive way. How are some able to do that while others aren't? Perhaps you are one of those resilient types, and you can share your story of strength and success. Resilient communities exist because of resilient people, and by supporting each other with suggestions and guidance we can ensure that the Prescott area communities remain forward-thinking.
Email your tips, stories and suggestions today - L.email@example.com, and we will weave these helpful items into future Counselor's Columns. Of course, everything is confidential, and no names will be attached.
