On Monday, Dec. 15, we went to Denny's in the Walmart shopping center complex in Prescott for lunch, arriving there shortly after 12:15 p.m. at the peak of lunch hour business. We were seated at a table near a booth along the south wall where two older gentlemen (but probably not as old as we are) sat and visited while waiting for their order to be served. We ordered and then began the long wait for our order, while the gentlemen continued their brisk conversation until their food was served. After the gentlemen finished their meals, Lexi our waitress, tried to convince them that Denny's' pies were delicious, but they declined to order and they paid their bill and left shortly afterward. We were surprised when Lexi came to our table later to tell us that they had purchased our lunches as well. What an unexpected surprise! I asked Lexi if she knew their names. She did not, but calls them 'Hey You' when she sees them occasionally. So, thank you 'Hey You' for your kindness, and Merry Christmas to you! Perhaps we'll see you again and can thank you personally.
