Obituary: Barbara L. Van Dyne

Barbara L. Van Dyne passed away Feb. 10, 2015 surrounded by five generations of her loving family. She was born in Phenix City, Alabama on April 19, 1932. She spent most of her life in her beloved Arizona.

She lived many years in Cave Creek, Arizona where she established the Lazy B7 Ranch. The first few Cave Creek Rodeos were held there. She was delighted to have a "party in her backyard" every year. She moved to the Prescott Valley area in 1991.

Barbara was a Real Estate Broker for over 35 years. She often referred to herself as a "dirt peddler" with a smile.

She was a devoted member of the Living Faith Church.

Barbara is survived by her children, Barbara Barker (Larry), Judy Larsen, Deborah Holloway-Brown and Phillip Van Dyne (Vickie); and her brother George Morris. She was predeceased by her son, Chuck Woodsmall; and her sister Jacqueline Jaimet. Her precious memory also remains with 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A private family service was held. There will be a memorial service held at Living Faith Church on April 4.
