Photos show Arizona from prehistory to now at Phippen today
Jim Turner of AZSpeaks, Arizona Humanities speaker's bureau, will present a photographic tour through the history of our beautiful state 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Phippen Museum, 4701 Highway 89 N., in Prescott. From the geological wonders of the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest to cutting-edge biotech industries and Native American art galleries, this whirlwind tour of Arizona from prehistory to the present shows it all.
This special presentation is offered to enhance the museum's current photography exhibition and sale, "Click: The West through the Lens," on display now through Feb. 22 in the museum's Kemper & Ethel Marley Western Art Gallery.
