Obituary: Adriana Rozeboom

Adriana Rozeboom, 77, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. Adriana was born on Nov. 29, 1937, in Ada, Michigan, to John and Mary Vander Boon.

Adriana attended nursing school in 1959 and was a nurse for 45 years in South Dakota, Iowa and Arizona. She was united in marriage to Tuenis Rozeboom on March 25, 1960. Adriana was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was well-known for her empathy, compassion and service to others in their time of need. Adriana's love and talent in music and commitment to her Christian faith were an inspiration to all.

Adriana is survived by her loving family, including her three children; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brothers and sisters. Adriana was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Tuenis.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Memorial donations may be made to Operation Blessing International (www.ob.org) in lieu of flowers.
