American Legion remembers Pearl Harbor Day
The American Legion, Post 122, has only a few veterans that remember that fateful day in December, 1941, when there was an attack on Pearl Harbor. Many of those that remember are no longer able to help raise the flags on the Avenue of Flags in Cordes Lakes, but those that could were there.
Ron Johnson, one of the post's World War II veterans, was invited to place a wreath at the ceremony held at Wesley Bolin plaza. This is quite an honor and Chuck Leon attended to assist with the wreath.
