PRESCOTT- Police have arrested three transients in connection with the Dec. 2 murder of David Rodriguez-Rodriguez, spokeswoman Lt. Amy Bonney said.
The three men were living in Rodriguez-Rodriguez's back yard in the 400 block of Beach Avenue in tents, Bonney said, and, after an argument, they assaulted him, then left the area.
He died the morning of Dec. 3.
The suspects are Russell Mell, 47, James Moorhead, 52, and Paul Robichaux, 53. Each has been charged with second-degree murder.
Robichaux was located and arrested without incident on Friday, Dec. 4, Bonney said, and Moorhead was found by a Prescott police patrolman on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Later on Saturday, an off-duty Prescott police officer identified Mell, as Mell was panhandling in the area of Highway 69 and Walker Road, and quickly reported his location to investigators working the case, Bonney said. Mell was apprehended without incident.
