Obituary: Joyce Coates

Joyce Coates, 81, of Paulden, Arizona passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at approximately 8:45 p.m. with her husband and daughter Phyllis by her side. Joyce grew up in Prescott, Arizona and married Art, her high school sweetheart, in 1952. They were married for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband Arthur J. Coates; two daughters, Phyllis Gaylord and Perri

Benemelis; son Charles Coates; grandson

Anthony Coates; granddaughters, Leslie Reid and Dayna Coates; and great granddaughters, Selene and Katarina Fielding.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be scheduled sometime in January.

Chino Valley Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
