Obituary: Ruby Swartz
Ruby Swartz, 91, passed away peacefully in the presence of our Lord on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at 12.38 a.m. at the Good Samaritan/Marley Care Center. She was the beloved wife of Floyd Swartz; they were married 60 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Swartz.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon, and son-in-law Cliff Branch, who live in Prescott Valley Arizona; five grandchildren, Jane Lambie (husband Paul), Aaron Branch, Cliff Branch Jr. (wife Michelle), Donald Swartz (wife Tammy), and Eric Steward (wife Seanna); 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Gerry Altland, June Palmer and Ruthie Whelry (husband Charles), all in Pennsylvania; and daughter-in-law Pat Swartz in Colorado.
Ruby was born in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 1, 1924. She had a full and busy, happy life with her military husband Floyd. She came to Prescott Valley, Arizona, from San Diego after her husband passed away in January 2005.
She was a beautiful Christian and loving wife and mother and her daughter's best friend. She will be very missed.
She will be buried in San Diego, California, beside her sweet husband.
