The Prescott Valley Public Library presents New York Times Best Selling Author J.A. Jance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, in the auditorium.

This free event does not require reservations. Books are available for purchase through The Peregrine Book Company. A book signing will follow the presentation.

J.A. Jance brings together two beloved protagonists -- Seattle detective J.P. Beaumont and Arizona sheriff Brandon Walker-- in her latest novel. With a missing boy's life at stake, Beaumont and Walker join forces to stop a sociopathic smuggler who has eluded justice for decades. Two cold cases more than 1,500 miles apart suddenly become red-hot... and connected.

"Dance of the Bones" is the fifth book in the Walker series and the twenty-fourth in the Beaumont series.
