JTED students earn state, industry certifications
Mountain Institute JTED students have completed testing on State and Industry Certifications necessary to obtain future career employment in their respective industries. JTED students tested in the following areas: Aviation, Pre-Engineering, Welding, Nursing (CNA), Medical Professions, Sports Medicine, Automotive Technologies and Culinary Arts.
MIJTED outpaced all other JTEDs on the annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) End-of-Program State Assessment. Mountain Institute has led all JTEDs in total performance for the past two years, and is expected to be ranked at the top spot again in 2015. This year 13 of the MIJTED's 17 CTE programs were ranked near the top, with six programs taking the highest program assessment marks and seven additional programs ranking second among the 13 JTEDs.
