Newest Arizona Ranger sworn in
The Verde Valley Company of the Arizona Rangers swore in a new member, Prescott Valley resident Keith Knotek, at their July 13 meeting in Cottonwood.
Knotek retired earlier this year after a 30-year law enforcement career in California where he was involved in a wide range of law enforcement activity and earning him recognition from peers for excellence in the performance of his duties. Prior to retirement, Knotek spent 11 years as a sergeant with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Immediately following his swearing in as an Arizona Ranger, Knotek was sworn in as Training Sergeant for the Verde Valley Company and is currently seeking input from fellow Rangers on training topics.
Knotek and wife Lily are enjoying living in Prescott Valley and have become actively involved in numerous community volunteer organizations.
