Prescott Valley's Economic Development Director Greg Fister says he is expecting a work plan from the company in September.

The fast food chain will be setting up a location between the Carl's Jr. and Sam's Club gas station off of Highway 69.

Haggen PV store closing?

The Daily Courier has heard a rumor circulating that the new Haggen grocery store in Prescott Valley may be closing.

We reached out to Haggen's corporate office about this and were told that there are no updates to report on this matter. Therefore, as of right now, this is simply a rumor and cannot be substantiated.

Advertising agency celebrates 20 years in Prescott

Many local businesses haven't had to turn to big advertising agencies in Phoenix for 20 years because they have one right here in the area to turn to.

Helken & Horn is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month with more than 1,000 successful campaigns under its belt. The team at the full service agency includes graphic designers, copywriters, media planners and social media professionals.

Plaza Room Ballroom open house

The public is invited to attend an open house gala for Prescott's new Plaza View Ballroom.

The ballroom space is designed to host weddings, receptions, corporate events, anniversaries, mitzvahs, fundraiser galas, holiday parties and more.

There will be a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, August 11 at 3:45 p.m., followed by an open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Plaza View Ballroom is located at 120 W. Gurley St. in Prescott.
