Letter to the Editor: Buz Williams
Here we go again, good ol' Buz Williams pontificating about Easter and trying to tie it to political correctness. The two examples that he uses to explain his idea of political correctness gone wrong, are a white wash. First rape on campus. I don't know where you've been Buz, but this has become a huge problem. Fraternities are not only coming under fire, for extreme bad behavior, where women are concerned, but also prejudiced and bigoted behavior, caught on social media, to the discussed, of all who watch Second your constant "mantra" of false accusation of police officers, blaming once again, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Here's the deal Buz. Ferguson's police department got a stinging rebuke after the young black man was killed, by a white officer. Changes will be made through out that department, from the top down. There are 20 other cities where the Justice Department is looking into racial profiling and prejudice behavior by police officers towards black citizens. The latest tragedy, happening in South Carolina. A white officer murdering a black man. Yes, murdering a black man. The associated press reports in the April 10 paper, a former FBI agent and police chief in 4 southern cities, who testifies in police misconduct cases, say's this behavior is far from unique. Officers are seeing the people they serve, as the enemy. I totally disagree with you Buz, The false hood and sheep like phrase, as you say, of "Hands up. Don't shoot," seems more like the truth to me.
