Enjoy three weekends of fun in Crown King

Crown King has several events coming up to encourage people to drive to this small community about 20 miles south of Prescott.

Saturday is the Crown King Fire Department's annual dinner, dance and auction that starts at 3 p.m. The barbecue starts at 6 p.m. and the band is Crown King's own Bradshaw Mountain Band.

Next up is the annual Crown King Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27. Participants hit their golf balls down the hill toward the lone hole next to the Crown King Saloon. Entry forms are available at VisitCrownKing.com.

Then the Chili Cookoff takes place Saturday, Oct. 4 at the historic Crown King Saloon. Stick around for a performance by The Visitors rock band. More details are coming soon at facebook.com/crownkingsaloon.
