Nora Mattie (Spillers) Ritter, 95, passed away on Sept. 5, 2014, at the Arizona Pioneer Home in Prescott, Ariz. She was born on April 15, 1919 in Globe, Ariz., to Fred and Melvina (Hamblin) Spillers.
After graduating the 8th grade from Peeples Valley Grammer School, she went on to take correspondence course's from Wickenburg High School.
She was a loving wife, mother, a wonderful cook and hostess. Nora was the President of the Kirkland Women's Club, and served as the Secretary of the Yavapai County Cowbelles.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Jacob Ritter; and infant son, William Ritter.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Jacob (Lavon) Ritter II and Tom (Phoebe) Ritter; grandchildren, Curtis Jacob Ritter III, Brandi (Ritter) Dissell, Pam (Ritter) Denney, Wendy (Ritter) Kenson, and Keri (Ritter) Delphia.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
