TJ Maxx will open Sept. 21
Earlier this month the retailer giant TJ Maxx hosted a hiring event in the hopes aof attracting at least 100 new employees to run the new Prescott Valley store scheduled to open Sept. 21.
The chain tapped Cynthia Stanley as the new store manager, who already owns a home in Dewey-Humboldt and had been a store manager at Desert Ridge in Scottsdale. Stanley brings years of retail experience.
"We will have a ribbon cutting, donations to local charities benefiting women and children, radio stations, balloons and snacks," Stanley said.
Stanley explained that the TJ Maxx buyers travel the globe for the best designs and deals. The store also offers the best in customer service and offers fine and casual jewelry, shoes, accessories, cosmetics and much more.
"We will have everything that a department store has to offer," Stanley said.
The grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting and fundraising event to benefit an as yet undisclosed local charity benefiting women and children. The store will host several such fundraisers a year.
T.J. Maxx operates more than 980 stores nationwide and delivers top fashion, brand names, quality, and price with every piece of merchandise in the store, according to its website.
