PREP VOLLEYBALLPrescott 3Bradshaw Mtn. 0The Division 2 No. 8-ranked Badgers blanked their cross-town rival Tuesday in Prescott Valley, dispatching Bradshaw Mountain in straight games, 25-15, 25-17, 25-12, for their third consecutive victory.Raphael Temple paced Prescott with 15 kills, 19 assists and nine digs. Sierra Howard (eight kills, four digs, service ace), Sydney Koehler (six kills, 13 digs), Grace Hendricks (20 digs) and Erinn Marroquin (two aces, 12 assists) also stood out for the visitors.After the win in front of a big crowd at BMHS, the Badgers raised their record to 26-9 overall and 3-2 in Section 6. The Bears fell to 5-7 and 2-3. Prescott has five matches left in the regular season, including four in the section."We're excited about finishing strong," Badgers coach Shellie Bowman said afterward, " and making a mark in the section."On Thursday, PHS visits Goldwater and Bradshaw heads to Peoria to continue section play. Both matches are scheduled for 6 p.m.
