Moya Brennan will be in concert with "An Irish Christmas" 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Ave. in Prescott. Brennan is the lead singer in Clannad, a five-piece band direct from Ireland. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students, and free for those 18 and younger. Mountain View Baptist Church, 395 Pony Place in Dewey, will host a gospel music concert from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, with "Gospel Joy." Hasid Jewish Congregation Torah Class is at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at 1300 N. Stoneridge Drive, Prescott Valley. Chabad Rabbi Levertov will lead.

Featured speaker at the 10 a.m. Sunday service of Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 945 Rancho Vista Drive, is Kathleen Labb, MA, MDiv. Her topic will be "Living Gratitude - A State of Being." This state of being is essential to our nature. It allows us to ride the waves of gratitude in joyous moments and in recesses of darkest days, even through anger and tears. Kathleen Labb has worked as a hospice chaplain, therapist and currently teaches in Yavapai College's Community Education.

Faith United Community Church, 1061 Old Chisholm, Prescott Country Club, Dewey, is having a Christmas Craft and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. There are more than 30 vendors with craft and gift items. Also available will be chili, sloppy joes and beverages.

Taize Advent service at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 2062 N. Highway 89, Chino Valley, is at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7. Come prepare your heart and calm your mind by singing or listening to the beautiful meditative and peaceful music of Taize. On Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m., St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Ruger Road and Highway 89, just north of the airport, is sponsoring an afternoon of making tree ornaments, storytelling, singing Christmas carols and meeting Santa. Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have lost a child at any age or however long ago, meets the second Tuesday of each month at Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley St. Pastor Carol Mumford leads the group, and any community member who has lost a child may attend. This is just one of the support groups that meets each month at PUMC. Daughters of Grace Ministries invites women to its spring Bible study beginning Jan. 6.
