Gallery Focus: Yavapai College Art Gallery

The Yavapai College Art Gallery is featuring its Fall Juried Student Exhibition. All works are by art students currently enrolled at Yavapai College. Juried works in the exhibition include printmaking, painting, watercolor, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics and digital representations.

The show's winners are: Michael Brown, Best of Show 3D; Leslie Quenichet, Best of Show 2D; Kim Kapin, 1st Place 2D; Maria Lynam, 2nd Place 2D; Karen Fornes, 3rd Place 2D; Derek Deneke, 1st Place 2D; Cameron Morgan, 2nd Place 2D; and Drew Giffin, 3rd Place 3D.

Tania Radda from Phoenix juried the show. Her wood sculptures are shown nationally and internationally and are shown in many galleries, invitationals, as well as museum and private collections. She currently is a faculty member at Grand Canyon University and was previously adjunct faculty in the woodworking program at Yavapai College.

The exhibition runs through Saturday, Dec. 13, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, in conjunction with the Prescott Art Walk.
