UAF Superstar of the Week: Myra
Even though it sounds strange, sometimes you have to be lost in order to be found. My name is Myra, and not very long ago, I was lost on the streets of Phoenix. I was desperate for food, shelter and love. Just when I had almost given up, someone found me and brought me to United Animal Friends. That's when things really turned around for me, and now I'm on my way to finding a forever home of my own. I'm a healthy, 1- to 2-year-old domestic shorthair, with a striking coat and a very sweet disposition. One thing I didn't get much of in my former life was affection, and now I can't get enough! My favorite is what I call the "full body rub" - it's amazing! My caretakers tell me I'm going to find a great home, either as an only cat or with a friendly cat companion. One thing is for certain: My "lost" days are behind me. I'm ready to be "found" for good!
If you'd like to meet me, I'm currently residing at UAF's Kitty City at Petco in Prescott. Visiting hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, as well as 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. As the UAF Superstar of the Week, my adoption fee is $20 to a UAF approved home. If you have questions about me, you can call Ruthie at 379-1088 or visit the UAF website: www.UnitedAnimalFriends.org.
