Lisa Aileen Singer Williams

Lisa Aileen Singer Williams, age 57, of Prescott, beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, May 9, 2014.

Lisa was born in Queens and grew up in Kingston, N.Y., and later in North Miami Beach, Fla. She attended the University of Miami and Georgia State University where she achieved her bachelors, masters and certification as a speech pathologist.

She married Michael Williams, originally of Columbus, Ohio, June 1, 1982. She gave birth to daughter Allison Beth Williams Wilden, age 27, who is married to U.S. Army Veteran Daniel Wilden of Houston, Texas; and to Joseph Daniel Williams, age 23, of Baltimore, Md. She loved her husband and children dearly and with constant unwavering love. She drove them to become the adults they are today through faith, education and the love of family.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 32 years; her children and son-in-law; mother Norma Landes; brother Glenn Singer; and nieces Rachel and Alex. Her father Martin Singer preceded her in death.

Lisa had an affinity for people and brought light into any room that she entered. She developed a network of friends from all the many places she

had lived and they became a part of her patchwork family. She attended to the therapy needs of many children and adult home health patients and families for over 35 years that sang her praises often for the professional care that she provided.

Lisa's Jewish beliefs and faith made her a strong advocate for Judaism for her children, family, many friends and community. She lived as she would want others to remember her and would emphasize the need to carry on with living in her absence. She will be missed and remembered by many.

Funeral services were entrusted to Wakelin Family Funeral Homes. Please visit www.ruffnerwakelin.com to view and sign Lisa's guestbook.
