Letter: Community spirit shone at Dinner for the Diamond

EDITOR:

Saturday evening, April 19, Tim's Auto Group hosted the 3rd annual "Dinner for the Diamond," a fundraiser for the Prescott High School Baseball Program. The general manager at Tim's, Ali Hussain, has been a tremendous supporter of not only the baseball program, but of the Prescott, Chino Valley, Humboldt and Mayer school districts in general. The event at Tim's featured a wonderful dinner catered by Chef Jim Cabral, fantastic music by local favorite Crossfire, emceeing by Ken Byers from Magic 99.1, and live and silent auctions. Both the auctions were strongly supported by local business - too many to list here - they know who they are and have our heartfelt thanks. Finally, the assistance of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Prescott Area Young Professionals was invaluable. The evening would not have been possible without their help. To all those in attendance, thank you for coming, and we all hope you enjoyed the evening.
