Friday shooting in PV injures 2

PRESCOTT VALLEY - Two men were shot and injured, though not critically, Friday night in what authorities believe may have been an attempted murder, a police spokesman said.

The shots were fired around 9 p.m. in the 8100 block of Spouse Drive, said Sgt. Brandon Bonney, near the Carniceria Latina.

The suspect left the scene in a car described as possibly being a green late-1990s Ford Taurus or similar vehicle, Bonney said.

"The shooter was described as a younger Hispanic male, possible in his late teens, wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a baseball cap," Bonney said.

The victim's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, he added.

Police are asking anyone this information about the incident to call PVPD Det. Sgt. Brown at 772-5103 or make an anonymous call to Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
