CHINO VALLEY, Arizona - A man who police said had "thousands of illegal pictures involving children" was taken into custody by the Prescott Police SWAT team along with Chino Valley Police on Thursday, March 13, a police spokesman said.
Christian A. Foreman, 35, was charged with 13 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, Prescott Police Lt. Ken Morley said.
Police served a search warrant at Foreman's Donna Drive home, Morley said, after an investigation begun in December 2013 identified him as a person who possessed child pornography.
SWAT was deployed because of "the potential for violence and prior criminal activity," Morley said.
Foreman admitted to detectives that he had the pictures, Morley said, and detectives are still investigating. More charges could be coming, he added.
