Antelope Hills men head to Sedona for June event

THE ANTELOPE HILLS MEN'S Golf Club played its June special event tournament at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona this past Wednesday. The format was medal play with optional gross and net skins and closest to the pin on the par threes. In the first flight Joe Gouveia won low gross with a 77 followed by Tom Eastlack with a 78. First low net winner was Jerry Emery in a card off with Chuck Ishcomer, both shot a net 73. Third low net went to Bill Huth with a 75 and Rick Davis had a net 76 for fourth. In the second flight Bud Stein won low gross with a 92 and Bob Durick took second with a 93. Low net honors went to Larry Lunn with a 73 in a card off with Don Mrochek who won second low net and Larry Richey's 75 took third low net. Fourth low net was Jordan Ristich with a 76. Third flight low gross went to Jim Peoples with a 99 and second low gross went to George Skirm's 101 in a card of with Bill Brady who won third low net with a 75 and lost out to Tom Christensen for second low net, Tom also had a net 75. Fourth low net winner was Ken Broughton with a 76. First flight gross skin winners were John Spehar and R. David Dietrich Jr. Low net skins went to Gary Clemmons, R. David Dietrich Jr., Mark Mcgrath and Bill Huth. Second flight gross winners were Tom Foster, Larry Richey, Jordan Ristich, and Bud Stein. Low net skins went to Tom Foster, Larry Richey, Don Mrochek, Jordan Ristich and Bud Stein. In flight three, low gross skins went to George Skirm (2), Dan Anderson, Bryan Elliott, Jim Peoples, Bill Brady, Bill Mcgivern, Jim Kilbourne and Herb Keeling. Low net skin winners were George Skirm, Dan Anderson, Bryan Elliott, Michael C. Elia, Ken Broughton, Bill Brady, Bill Mcgivern, Jim Kilbourne, Herb Keeling and Mike Sherman. Closest to the pin on #4 was John Spehar, #7 was R. David Dietrich Jr., #13 was Don Stever and Gary Kiser on #16.
