David Lloyd was located today in downtown Phoenix by Phoenix Police. He was in good physical condition but disoriented. It is unclear why he was in Phoenix or how he arrived there.
Mr. Lloyd's family was notified and they picked him up and he has since returned to a Prescott area care facility. He is no longer listed as a missing and endangered person.
PRESCOTT - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man who may be having medical issues, a Prescott Police spokesman said.
David L. Lloyd, 42, left his home on Moall Drive the morning of June 3 and has not been seen since, Lt. Ken Morley said.
Lloyd is under a doctor's care and is taking medication for "several mental health conditions," Morley said, but he said Lloyd's family reported that he had stopping taking the medications.
Morley said Lloyd had wandered away from his home in the past and become lost and confused.
Lloyd is 6'1" with brown hair and hazel eyes. The family does not know what he was wearing when he left, but may be carrying a small black backpack.
Anyone who has been or knows the whereabouts of Lloyd is asked to call Prescott Police Detective Shapiro at 928-777-1983 or, after normal business hours, 928-445-3131.
